- Off for a new test. Ultrasound today. Finally gave him something for the pain — and he's starting to perk up as a result. #sickboy #
- Still no idea what's going on with #sickboy but he's been admitted to BCCH, started on fluids and antibiotics. Likely to be in for few days. #
- Still a bit frustrated that it's taken 4 days of ER visits to get to this point. Reason seems to be "unknown cause" confuses ER. #sickboy #

- Things sure moved quickly tonight. Aidan's hand ballooned quickly and just as quickly he was whisked off to the OR. Waiting, waiting… #
- Despite the concern for his brother, the 3 yr old went to sleep tonight without any fight. Small victories, I'll take them. #
- Turns out Aidan now has multiple infections: the one in his hand, and a blood infection too. He's going to be in BCCH for at least 10 days. #
- He's sleeping a fair bit but apparently in much less pain. The trick over the next little while will be preventing further infections. #
- This, sadly, means canceling his birthday party and some other activities. #
- Thanks, again, to everyone for your ongoing support. It helps. #
- We're not sure of the initial source of the infection. He didn't have any apparent bites, scratches, or any other wounds. #
- If anyone would like to send good wishes towards our #sickboy there's good wifi here and I will happily show him the @AidanFloyd feed! #

- OMG this hospital cot violates several Geneva Conventions. #
- The torturous cot has a Machiavellian purpose: it keeps parents awake enough to monitor beeps and sundry from the machines for the nurse! #
- Whew. 2 hrs of surgeon, nurses, med student, nursing student. The surgeon was unable to disguise his surgeonness, and wasn't really trying. #
- A dressing change, physio, and rounds (with more students!) still to come. So busy but not busy at all. Weird. #sickboy #
- On the plus side, @AidanFloyd got more sleep last night than he has in almost a week. Wish I could say the same. #sickboy #
