- Watching the #bcdebate. Just touched on universities + accessibility. No one touched on 1000s of students in uni that shouldn’t be. #
- I *strongly* believe that there should be *fewer* people in university, more in trade/tech colleges. Not everyone should go to university. #
- I don’t understand how the BCNDP plans to pay for all the stuff they are promising in this contracting economy w/o bankrupting the province. #
- Here’s a radical thought: Free tech/trade/arts college tuition, w/ fast track options to unis for those students. Raise uni enntrance req’s. #
- But uni entrance should be based on more than grades. Increase funding to unis, but reduce student bounties. #
