  • Q and I taken out by some sort of GI bug. No work, hospitals for us today. :( #
  • They're letting #sickboy try oral antibiotics this afternoon. This is a huge step in the right direction. Yay! #
  • How nice of Q to go down and stay down for a nap while I pulled myself to the table for an important telecon. #
  • And just like that, they're sending #sickboy home. Amazing what a difference a few days makes. Huzzah! #
  • Frankly, I'm surprised that they've released him, but he's recovered lots of motion & lost a lot of pain. He'll be on oral abx for a while. #

  • Not as urgent as last time, but when the decision is made, they move quickly: Aidan's in surgery right now, few hrs before any more updates. #
  • Aidan's out of surgery. They found infection in the bones of his wrist. He will require at least another 6 weeks of IV antibiotics. #sickboy #
  • At this pt, we don't know how much will be done through outpatient services, but we think it's likely we'll be living here for 1 more wk min #
