  • Dear @Tweetdeck, using 2 GB of memory means that you haven’t eliminated the memory leak. #WasWonderingWhyTheLaptopWasEndlesslySwapping #
  • RT @KenHardie: Not yet. The overpass near the Saputo Plant isn’t quite done. We’re planning a big opening June 13. [re: Central V. Grnwy] #
  • Another gorgeous ride in today, sunny and cool. First day this year in my riding shorts instead of the long pants. W00t! #
  • Whoa. Blogger’s OpenID system didn’t let me specify what information I wanted attached to a blog comment. Name/email/etc. Don’t like that. #
  • Surprised at the reaction to the DiggBar but lack of reaction to owl.ly links. Same thing, non? #
  • Birthday afternoon soundtrack: U2, TPOH, OK GO, DM. I like power pop, sue me. Might even throw in some AAR + Panic! ATD to spark my angst. #
  • Birthday dinner. Birthday cake. Birthday coma. #
  • Among the things I didn’t expect today foremost was having to explain pending civil war in Thailand to my 4yr old. He listens to #cbcnews. #

  • I’d think some sense of self-preservation would keep the cat from waking us up at 2am. But no. #
  • Why are chocolate rabbit ears so much better than the rest of the bunny? #
  • Saw a sign for the Central Valley Greenway yester., checked it out. New 25 km bike rte thru Greater Van. Why hadn’t I heard of this before? #
  • Central Valley Greenway (#yvr): http://is.gd/jKL6 #
  • OK, even after scouring the site, I can’t tell if the Central Valley Greenway is complete or not. @KenHardie? #
  • Sigh, offended someone by asking them to change a log on one of my caches where they left the TB tracking number in the log. #geocaching #gc #

  • OH whilst driving back from IKEA this afternoon: “It wasn’t a yawn, my brain was stretching!” Ah, the world thru the eyes of a 4 yr old. #
  • Turkey dinner. Can’t beat it. @LeftCoastMama makes a mean turkey. And by “mean” I mean “unbeatable” #
  • Dunno what’s going on downtown Vancouver, but the police helicopter is circling around and flashing its search light everywhere :o #
  • Well, haven’t heard what the fuss was with the helo. Painted our place on Fairview Slopes twice, but seemed concentrated on d/t. Ah well. #

  • The boy has no concept about sleeping in. On the + side, the “Peep and the Big Wide World” web site has kept him busy for the past hour. |) #
  • Holy crap sheep are stupid. And skittish. And this game is addicting. #flock #
  • Any women in Vancouver (ish) want to play on a co-ed softball team this summer? We need a few women to play in the Crosstown Softball League #
  • Trying to get the crew together to go caching. Might leave the 4yr old in a park somewhere. Grrrr. #
  • http://twitpic.com/34ig9 – Geocaching has devolved to playing at the playground. 4 finds at least! #
  • Back from caching, picked up another one after the playground. A. became happy and cooperative as soon as we go out, so we brought him home. #
  • RT @NowPublic: Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters cancel rest of Canadian tour [Was it something we said? LOL] #
  • “Boo all you want,” Thornton told the crowd, “but I want to say something…” I get the feeling they weren’t interested in listening. #
  • For the PM Tweeps: Any women in Vancouver (ish) want to play on a co-ed softball team this summer? We need a few women to play on our team #
  • Crap I can’t type tonight. #
