- Had a cold call from an unidentified caller telling us about a typo on our web site. "Pennisula" -> "Peninsula". Thanks caller! :/ #
- .@Sloanmusic is giving away music! Grab it here: http://t.co/L5LluAG no strings attached. #
- I can always tell when @lazinryder is On The Coast. There's more music. Grooving in my pod right now. #
- Aidan will i-view @joshgroban tonight. If A gets asked about HIS fav music: @SocialD1, @afi, @danmanganmusic, @kaiser_chiefs, @BobsandLoLo #
- His taste in music is somewhat eclectic for a 6 yr old. #
- Typical night at Charleson Park: 3 on-leash dogs in and around play equipment, 2 more off leash. All violating unenforced dog bylaw. Grrr. #
- 100m away is a huge dog park. So very frustrating. #
- I need deÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ-earworming. Quick, someone tweet me a song. #anythingbutrush #
- Awesome @lyteforce @bobsongs @manx_cat @craftyb! Now I'm looking for a Muppets/Duck Sauce remix sung by Sir Elton w/ a violin solo. #

- Breaking: Leg-in-Boot Square in Vancouver to be renamed Foot-in-Shoe Square #WashedUpJoke #
- So long to @joshlavoie and @ErinLouise, two cool local Tweeps who we somehow never got to meet. They're off to Australia! Have fun, kids! #
- We've got to push those microwave ovens: RT @CBCArts: Dire Straits' song deemed fit for Canadian radio http://t.co/bxgul4x #

- Suddenly I have a great idea for a new geocache container: http://t.co/jtqIFei #
- Dear #OTC interviewee, sarcasm is limited to hipsters? Damn. @lazinryder #OTC #
- 7th/Pine OffBWay bike rte, lux SUV blows stop, halts few ft from me on bike. Throws bird, yells, gets OUT, threatens. WTF Vancouver? #
- Get out of the fucking way he yells. Oblivious to fact he's left SUV in mid of intersection. God I hate people sometimes. #
- I slowed down because he was blowing the stop. I should run a video cam all the time so I can make police reports on these assholes. #
- Seriously. 14 yrs of bike commuting in Vancouver. # ppl getting out of cars & threatening me this yr? 3. Other years? 0. What's in the H2O? #
- Apparently school starts next week. No letters, notices, emails, phone calls from school. Wonder when, what time, where he's supposed to go? #
- Tennyson never seems to think stuff like that is important. Why would parents want to know when to send their kids? #
- To combat tonight's grumpiness, I'm making chocolate chip cookies. Chocolate makes everything better. #
- BC teachers are underpaid. I abhor the BCTF using children as pawns. I do not support teachers strikes at all. #
- One way to solve BC's teaching problems? Tear up the contracts, outlaw the BCTF, bring in a 3rd party consultant, build from scratch. #
- Pay the teachers what they deserve, clearly define their responsibilities, give them the flexibility in hours, bring in merit based feedback #
- The days of permanent, protected jobs are over. If you're not pulling your weight, why should you be bringing down the system? #
- Not that I think any reform of the public education system will occur. The BCTF is too powerful, and the BC electorate hates change. #bcpoli #
- Here's a crazy idea: Pay teachers year-round. Only give them 2-4 wks vacation like the rest of us. Use rest of summer for planning, pro-D. #
- That way, they don't have to work nights, weekends doing planning b/c they have planned through summer. #
- Pay them for 8 hour days. 6 hours with kids, 2 hours to do other work. Keep proD days, bake in some planning days too. #
- MT @kyegrace: Bottom line for me is there are some smart hardworking people stuck in a badly broken system. #bcedu #
- Chocolate chip cookies make the world better. http://t.co/3k05jxO #
- Interesting: Why is there no texting geographic "emergency broadcast system"? Ie, broadcast text to all cell phones in geographic area? #
- Great interview with Douglas Keefe and John Furlong on #OTC with @lazinryder. Frank discussion about #vanriot2010 #
- Erm, #vanriot2011 The 2010 riot was much more subdued. Particularly as the Canucks exited in the 2nd round. #
- Walking home from grocery store tonight, 3 Busters tow trucks hauling away illegally parked lux cars. Easy pickings on the South Cambie Rise #
- Late to the party, but happy birthday to AMTK @yoyomamadotca! Doesn't 29 feel great? #
- OMG, it's like Pop Up Video for Star Wars http://t.co/wXkHNK3 (ROTJ) #

- Finally home, 10 hours today out today picnicking, playgrounding, geocaching. Worn. Out. #
- GSAK is great. Apparently it took us 1598 days to get to 1000 #geocaching finds. Had I known it might have been tempting to wait 2 more days #
- Also? Our cache-to-cache distance is 93500km, or 2.34 times around the equator. Yowza! #geocaching #
